Hollywood Bowl / Quincy's, 22nd December 2002

The third annual xmas bash of the North Star Rocketry Group. After previous successes we thought long and hard about what to do this year, and finally decided to do exactly the same as in previous years. Bowling, followed by a slap up feed (well it was OK on the day - but several members report getting plenty of exercise over xmas running to the little boy's (and girl's) room). Attending were Angela & Pete W, Brian, Mike, Richard, Tony, Pete D & Jenny, George, Darren, Karen, Shaun, James, Kieran & Callum, Dave T, Mrs Dave (Susan!) and Lisa. As last year, Pete D won the bowling. This year however, Jenny gave him a run for his money. Pete W would have been in the ball park too, if he had hit form before the first game. We had the usual post dinner launch of helium balloons tied to various bits and pieces from the xmas dinner. Kieran's was last seen rising slowly over McDonald's.

Incredibly, no one remembered to bring a camera - so you will have to imagine it for yourselves!
