Hollywood Bowl / Quincy's, 8th December 2001

The second annual xmas bash of the North Star Rocketry Group. After the success of last year's event, we decided to do the same thing again. Bowling, followed by a slap up feed. Attendance was everyone from last year, plus a few new faces. There was Angela & Pete W, Brian, Mike, Richard, Tony, Luke, Pete D & Jenny, Steve & Biddy, Patrick, Jan, George, Darren, Karen, Shaun, James & Kieran. As last year, Pete D won the bowling. This year however, he was presented with a trophy. The trophy was made by Mike and presented by Brian. It's an excellent trophy. It's not too clear form the pic, but it's a bowling pin with fins on. The winner keeps it until there's a new winner. It was pretty close this year. Things got a little rowdy at Quincies. So much so that we were asked to quieten down by the staff. What did they expect after supplying us with comedy balloons, helium balloons, and other assorted party stuff?
